The old quarter of Palma is vibrant and
ever-changing, and since our last web update we now have an
exciting new bar in Placa d'en Coll called "Bar Rustic".
The ubiquitous Blonde Café has reopened under new ownership as
"Noodle Bar", offering a bit of international spice to the wide
repertoire of cuisine available nearby. |

Our dear friends, Enriqué and Christine have moved from
Bistrot es Lloc in Placa d'en Coll down to a charming little chiringuito
on the beach at Cala Viñas (on the way to Magaluf).
Rumour has it that Bistrot es
Lloc will soon reopen as an authentic Italian restaurant!

There's a new bar at the Santa
Eulalia end of Carrer Carnisseria: a great place to get a late
night cup of excellent coffee on the way back from a night out
the the Old Quarter. We're
sorry to say that Joan and Valentina's little general store in
Carrer Carnisseria has been forced to close due to competition
from the supermarkets. |
