About Us
The Music Business is a long-established national provider of audio design, consultancy, installation and commissioning of music systems, voice alarm and public address systems to the retail and hospitality industries. Fully conversant with all current regulations and codes of practice in respect of Electrical, Building Regulations and Health & Safety, we have worked with major contractors on projects of all sizes and complexities throughout the UK and Europe.
Our scope of work ranges from small public house background music systems to include major out-of-town shopping centre developments, passengerships and cruise lines. We offer two internet-streamed background music delivery services through our partnerships with Soundtrack (formerly Spotify for Business) and Soundsuit. Both services can be streamed in any business, anywhere.
Our technicians are equipped with the latest technology and training, and our specification teams can offer tailor-made solutions including selecting the right equipment chosen from the product ranges of the world’s most respected audio manufacturers.
Our home base in West Yorkshire places us in the centre of the national motorway network and close to the North of England’s major airports, allowing us to guarantee a fast response to your needs, wherever you are.
Our customer, the award-winning, Engine Social Dining, established in 2018 in Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire. A small plates restaurant, very popular with locals and visitors alike, with an amazing atmosphere enhanced by The Music Business’ sound system installation and the perfect ‘Soundtrack’.
